Understanding the Work of the State Board
Tuesday, February 28, 2012 – 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
This session is designed to give board members a greater understanding of the State Board, how it operates, and the kind of decisions it makes. From 8:30–noon, you’ll observe the State Board of Education during its monthly meeting, and then have an opportunity to “debrief” over lunch with John Woolums, MABE’s Director of Governmental Relations.
