Topic: The Trust Edge for School Districts (Molly Young)
A lack of trust is costly to school districts. Research shows that education is one of the most trusted institutions in the United States (2017 Trust Outlook™). As trust levels rise in schools and a trusting environment is built, school districts may likely see positive results in staff retention, student enrollment, and student achievement. Developing trust and gaining its advantages starts with individuals and then extends to their school board teams and beyond. Learners are guided through valuable content within the Trust Edge 8-Pillar Framework as outlined in David Horsager’s national best-seller, “The Trust Edge.” By engaging and interacting with the content from this framework, participants will experience powerful personal and professional growth. They can expect to gain strategies to help deepen relationships and develop more committed teams. This competitive advantage is what we refer to as The Trust Edge.
