MABE Hired to Lead Caroline County’s Superintendent Search

The Caroline County Board of Education has begun its search for a Superintendent of Schools with assistance from the Maryland Association of Boards of Education (MABE).

After receiving community and stakeholder input, the Caroline County Board of Education members have developed the final desired superintendent characteristics and criteria with the help of MABE Consultant, Bill Middleton. The vacancy will be advertised for one month beginning December 27, 2021, with candidate interviews expected to begin in late February. The chosen candidate for the position is expected to be announced by or before May 2022, with the new superintendent expected to officially begin on July 1, 2022.
