School board members work to stay up to date on the latest resources, but don’t always have time for longer trainings given such busy schedules.
Recognizing this reality, MABE is glad to introduce our new Flash Video Trainings, abbreviated trainings on key topics important to the work school board members do each day. We’re glad to offer these and our other MABE training videos to MABE members free of charge, in keeping with our mission to support local school board governance through professional development, advocacy and member services.
Given that a well-crafted strategic plan is school board members’ roadmap to success, we invite you to tune in at your convenience to MABE’s YouTube channel for our new “Strategic Planning” Flash Video Training. In this video session, MABE Director of Board Development Molly Young covers for Maryland local school board members highlights of why strategic planning is important; the strategic planning process; and how to use the strategic plan in board work.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on future Flash Video Trainings throughout the year. Thank you, MABE members, for your valued efforts on behalf of Maryland public school students and schools!
